About Me
I grew up in Leadville, Colorado, where my parents and my brother instilled in me an interest in music, video games, and jokes. My schooling fuelled interest in math as well as more diverse genres of music.
While attending Lake County High School, it dawned on me that a career choice was necessary. My passions for gaming and music helped me determine that I would only be truly happy in a career that involved either, or both!
I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver in May of 2018 with a bachelor's of science in Recording Arts.
Hobbies
My first hobby was skiing. As a two year old, my parents put me in tiny skis, and carefully slid me down our sloping back yard. I would go on to begin ski racing though my youth and into high school.
My second hobby was playing video games, specifically playing the original Super Smash Bros. on Nintendo 64. But, the game that sparked my passion for games (and my passion for music) was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This hobby has continued and expanded for nearly two decades.
A more recent hobby of mine is audio synthesis. Most of my self-directed research has been done by building synthesizers in Max/MSP, PureData, and Axoloti. I am also interested in analog synthesis, and have experimented circuit prototyping with a breadboard.
